For the first time in more than a month, temperatures have dropped below normal in eastern Nebraska.
The National Weather Service notes that on Tuesday, the daily temperature in Omaha averaged three degrees below normal.
The high reached 62 degrees and the low 32 degrees, based on readings at Eppley Airfield. It was the first time since Feb. 27 that local temperatures averaged below normal, according to the weather service.
In Lincoln, Tuesday was the first below normal day since March 3 and in Norfolk, the first since Feb. 29.
North Platte's last below average day was March 8. In Valentine, temperatures dropped below normal on Monday, the first time since March 7. In Sioux City, Iowa, temperatures dropped below normal Tuesday for the first time since March 3.
