The Metro Area Fugitive Task Force has asked for help in locating a man considered armed and dangerous.
William E. Bush, 25, has a warrant for his arrest for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, a felony.
The task force is also seeking Bush for questioning in the slaying of Kyle E. McCroy.
McCroy, 30, was shot four times, including once in the back of the head, about 8:30 p.m. March 28 in the 5800 block of Florence Boulevard.
Bush is a convicted felon with an extensive criminal history. Authorities described Bush as 5-5, 125 pounds with either a long black pony tail or thick dreadlocks.
Authorities urged anyone who knows his whereabouts to call 911 or Omaha Crime Stoppers.
