A sheriff's SWAT team, accompanied by a K-9 unit, swept into a north Omaha home Friday and arrested a 47-year-old man charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft.
The man also was wanted on a felony warrant in Iowa, said Sgt. Roger Goeser of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Recent thefts and burglaries in western Douglas County led authorities to the home southeast of 29th and Charles Streets, Goeser said.
Among the items stolen near Bennington were antique weather vanes and a remote-control drone valued at about $12,000. — Jay Withrow
