The city of Papillion is opening the former River City Ball Field Complex this week while residents clean up after recent thunderstorms.
The old field at 98th Street and Portal Road is normally used as a yard waste drop site during the city's annual spring and fall cleanups. But it will be open this week between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
City workers also are planning to pick up debris in neighborhoods across the city.
In Bellevue, the tree dump on Cedar Island Road will be open all week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
