Petting zoo offers fun, food for families
Soby Ranch, a nonprofit animal-assisted therapy facility and petting zoo, welcomes the public for a fundraiser from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Interact with the animals, have a hot dog and drink, ride a pony (rider must be less than 100 pounds), take a hay rack ride, and support the care of a 2-month-old dromedary camel. Adult or older teen supervision is required for those younger than 16.
Proceeds will provide barn help for the nonprofit operation and its children’s summer camps. Admission is $10 per person or $20 per family.
The ranch is on North 72nd Street, four miles north of Interstate 680 at 6167 County Road 40. For more information, visit SobyRanch.com. or call Joy Soby, 402-709-9401.
