Omaha police said Sunday it may be some time before they can release the name of a man who died in one-vehicle crash near 46th and Madison Streets because they're having a hard time locating relatives.
Sgt. Doug Klein, a police spokesman, said the man was a native of Mexico and didn't appear to have relatives in the Omaha area.
Investigators said the man was driving in reverse about 3:20 a.m. Saturday when his 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee vaulted a curb. The vehicle landed in a small field and the man was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
