A 23-year-old Kearney woman has died of injuries she received in a two-vehicle accident Thursday on Interstate 80 in Lincoln.
Raven Addy-Cruz died Saturday at the BryanLGH Medical Center West, according to a Nebraska State Patrol spokesman. According to investigators, Addy-Cruz was driving a 1996 Mazda 3 eastbound on I-80 when it was rear-ended by a dump truck and pushed into the south ditch, where it rolled over.
The woman’s husband and their 13-month-old daughter were taken to BryanLGH West with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening. The driver of the dump truck, whose name has not been released, didn’t report any injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
