The Boss is back.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have extended their Wrecking Ball World Tour, and it includes a stop in Omaha.
The rockers will perform at CenturyLink Center Omaha on Nov. 15. Tickets go on sale Aug. 18. Visit CenturyLinkCenterOmaha.com for ticket information.
Springsteen hasn't performed in Omaha since 2008, when Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes joined him onstage to sing "Thunder Road."
Springsteen's latest album, "Wrecking Ball" has been almost universally praised. Rolling Stone gave it a perfect score saying, "'Wrecking Ball' is the most despairing, confrontational and musically turbulent album Bruce Springsteen has ever made. He is angry and accusing in these songs, to the point of exhaustion, with grave reason."
Springsteen has been extremely focused on this tour, as a recent profile in the New Yorker showed. He wants fans to leave his concerts with "your hands hurting, your feet hurting, your back hurting, your voice sore."
"I want an extreme experience," he said.
