LEXINGTON — The Lincoln Christian boys tennis team edged Alliance by a single point to win the Lexington Invitational Saturday.
Holdrege finished fourth at the eight-team tourney, led by its doubles teams. Justin Ropers and Joseph Anderson finished 7-0 to win No. 2 doubles. Jared Karlson and Walker Hohensee tallied six wins to take runner-up at No. 1 doubles.
Lexington’s Brody Lauby earned four match victories to lead the Minutemen to a fifth place finish at the invitational.
Close behind was Kearney Catholic finishing sixth overall. Alex Cantral earned four victories at No. 2 singles for the Stars. Robert Messbarger picked up a pair of wins in No. 1 singles.
