FIRST TEAM

OFFENSE

Skyler Monaghan, Millard West WR
5-9/165/Jr.
Nominated by coaches at three positions, the junior caught 46 passes for 775 yards and eight touchdowns while setting the Class A single-game record with 282 receiving yards against Creighton Prep.

RJ Urzendowski, Omaha Creighton Prep WR
6-1/180/Jr.
A two-year starter on both sides of the ball, he caught 61 passes for a school-record 1,089 yards and 13 touchdowns as the Junior Jays reached the state semifinals. Had three takeaways on defense.

Casey Sayles, Omaha North OL
6-4/250/Sr.
Came on strong this year as a tight end and defensive end as the Vikings made the state finals for the first time, and he played perhaps his best game in the 17-14 loss to Millard North. Committed to Ohio University.

DJ Foster, Lincoln Southeast OL
6-3/300/Jr.
Armed with a Nebraska scholarship offer before the season, the offensive tackle was a mainstay of the Knights' lines. “A dominant run-blocker,” Southeast coach Ryan Gottula said.

Mike Milenkovich, Millard North OL
6-4/275/Sr.
A mainstay at offensive tackle for two years, he was the largest road-grader for a Mustang offense that averaged 363 rushing yards a game.

Matt Kraft, Millard South OL
5-11/225/Sr.
A two-year starter at center for the Patriots, he was All-Metro as a junior. “He was our best offensive lineman,” Millard South coach Andy Means said.

Lee Carhart, Omaha Creighton Prep OL
6-5/275/Sr.
The Junior Jays' top offensive lineman was a two-year starter. He was their long and short snapper and a team captain.

Alec Ditoro, Papillion-La Vista QB
6-0/175/Jr.
The most prolific passer in Class A history was the first big-school quarterback to average more than 300 passing yards a game. He tied the 11-man state record with 37 touchdown passes.

Isaac Aakre, Millard North QB
5-11/190/Sr.
Topped Danny Woodhead's Class A rushing record. The three-year starter, whose record was 31-5, ran for 5,231 yards, including 2,295 this season.

Calvin Strong, Omaha North RB
5-9/175/So.
Strong — the first sophomore on the All-Nebraska team since Woodhead — rushed for a school-record 1,892 yards with 22 touchdowns. He finished with 157 yards and a touchdown in the state final.

Devin Washington, Lincoln Southeast RB
5-9/175/Sr.
Overcame injuries to set the Knights' career rushing record with 3,366 yards. He tallied 1,134 yards and 15 touchdowns as the defending Class A champs made it to the state quarterfinals.

Andy Bayne, Millard North K
5-8/150/Sr.
Set the Class A single-season record with 15 field goals (in 19 attempts) and was 58 of 58 on extra points. His field goals were the difference in a pair of wins against Millard South, the second in the state semifinals.

DEFENSE

Freeman Coleman, Millard South DL
6-1/280/Sr.
He came up with 14 sacks and 19 overall tackles for losses among his 33 unassisted tackles. Had 13 assists and seven hurried passes and caused two fumbles.

Christian LaCouture, Lincoln Southwest DL
6-5/275/Sr.
Came to the state as a Husker commitment and leaves in January to play for LSU. “He is a beast,” Millard North coach Fred Petito said. Of his 98 tackles, 14 were for losses.

Harrison Phillips, Millard West DL
6-3/235/Jr.
Already drawing major-college interest, he made 43 solo and 47 assisted tackles as a defensive end with 11.5 sacks and four pass breakups.

Bryce Sosnowski, Millard South DL
6-1/220/Sr.
The defensive end led the Patriots with 79 tackles, 55 of them solo stops. He recorded a team-high 16 sacks, caused two fumbles and had seven hurries and an interception.

Nathan Bazata, Howells LB
6-2/285/Sr.
Iowa snagged a commitment from him last summer, making him the first FBS recruit for Jaguars coach Mike Speirs. Bazata had nine sacks and 11 tackles for losses. He's the only eight-man player on the first team.

Josh Banderas, Lincoln Southwest LB
6-2/225/Sr.
Want an indication of the Nebraska recruit's ability? He returned an interception 97 yards for a touchdown and made 119 tackles. On offense, he ran for 1,237 yards and 18 touchdowns at running back.

Nick DeLuca, Millard North LB
6-3/235/Sr.
The defensive leader of the Mustangs had 11 of his team-best 103 tackles in the state final, with a 17-yard sack. “We funneled things to him and he made plays,” coach Fred Petito said.

Luke McNitt, Kearney LB
6-2/219/Sr.
Seldom left the field for the Bearcats, as he was their dual-threat quarterback who set school records for total offense and touchdowns. A hard hitter, he could shift to tight end in college.

Trey Carr, Omaha Burke DB
5-11/175/Jr.
A playmaker on both sides of the ball, he had five interceptions, 13 pass breakups and 38 solo tackles. On offense, he caught 51 passes for 843 yards and scored 13 touchdowns.

Clay Fisher, Millard North DB
6-2/210/Jr.
The third Fisher brother to make All-Nebraska. Had the second-most tackles in the Mustangs' secondary while playing a key role in their offense. Scored the winning touchdown in the state final on a 46-yard pass play.

Jake Schlager, McCook DB
6-1/195/Sr.
“He was a one-man wrecking crew,'' Bison coach Jeff Gross said. Twenty of Schlager's 66 solo tackles were for losses. He recorded seven sacks, blocked six kicks and had four takeaways.

Jordan Bellar, Norfolk Catholic P
6-0/165/Sr.
Averaged 45.1 yards on 30 punts for the team that he quarterbacked the past three seasons to Class C-1 state titles. Also did much of the Knights' place-kicking and threw for 1,878 yards and 26 touchdowns.
